Our Pastor: David Seung-Heung Yang

"It's our great pleasure to introduce to you our new Pastor. He prefers to call him "Pastor David". Pastor David lives in Fremont CA with his wife, Rev. Youngmi Jung, pastor at Fremont First UMC, and their teenage daughter. He is a graduate of the Pacific School of Religion, earning his Masters of Divinity in 2016. He has served as Pastor for Grace San Ramon UMC since 2021. Pastor David has a passion for homeless ministries and has served the homeless in San Jose at the Street Church since 2018. He has also raised money for Imagine No Malaria and volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and Loaves & Fishes in Berkeley. He has owned his own business and plays the drums! Pastor David is very excited about joining SCUMC and looks forward to meeting all of you soon."
